American manufacturer of mobile processors, Qualcomm has introduced a new ultrabudgetary 215 chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon without the prefix in the title, which is aimed at smartphones that cost about $100 and can extend the functionality of devices in this price category. In particular, Qualcomm 215 has support for dual cameras, high-resolution displays, NFC and fast charging.
Chipset Qualcomm 215 contains a 4-core processor Cortex A53 and a maximum frequency of 1.3 GHz, the performance of which increased by 60% compared to the Snapdragon 212. Graphics subsystem is represented by GPU Adreno 308 increased by 28% performance in games and support for 1080p video. In addition, Qualcomm modem 215 includes the Snapdragon X5 that supports 4G-LTE Cat 4 with maximum download speed of 150 MB/s and impact — 50 MB/s and simultaneous work with two active SIM cards, Ultra HD Voice and VoLTE Calls.
Displays, camera and NFC
