The Chinese trading platform Alibaba is working on applications for ordering food and booking tables at restaurants directly from the vehicle. They will be part of a payment service AliPay integrated into the proprietary operating system AliOS, are designed for multimedia systems.

According to the publication TechCrunch, to manage such applications will be using touch screen gestures or voice. While Alibaba is looking to create services and third-party developers. This will allow the company to build an ecosystem similar to Apple’s AppStore, with its own specific criteria of safety and quality control.

In 2017, Alibaba rebranded operating system AliOS, with emphasis on its use in cars and the Internet of things. Integration solutions on the basis of the AliOS is engaged in Banma Network — a joint venture between Alibaba, SAIC Motor and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen.

General Motors has a similar platform online trading Marketplace through which you can pay for goods and services from third parties. In addition to the payment refueling and access to booking tables at restaurants, service GM allows you to order products or pay for the dry cleaning.
