Apple and Google at the request of the Federal trade Commission has removed three of the analogue service for singles Tinder — FastMeet, Meet24 and Meet4U from Ukrainian developer Wildec in connection with the danger of apps for children, said in a statement the regulator.
“To the may 3, 2019 Apple and Google have removed applications from their online stores, but the updated versions of the apps can appear in the App Store and Google Play — but only for adults,” reads the statement.
According to the American regulator, the apps allow children to create public profiles for Dating. Thus, as adults, including sex offenders, can use these applications to communicate with the minor, and with the collection of GEODATA users in real time — look for kids by age and location.
