The company has split the orders between Foxconn smartphones (50-60%) and Pegatron (30%).

It turns out, according to Economic Daily News, Pegatron has lost up to half of their initial orders for the iPhone XR, losing Foxconn. And all because of the fact that there was actually a shortage of vital components, as well as workers in the factories in China.

In addition to this, the supply of LCD screens from Japan Display (JDI) for XR was not sustainable. Pegatron and Foxconn declined to comment on the situation.
