Apple has included the iPhone 5 in the list of obsolete products. This was reported on the website of the company.
Inclusion in this list means that the company will no longer repair the smart phones of this model, it is also no longer carried out their warranty service and support.
“In the US, the iPhone 5 was considered “obsolete”, in other countries it klassificeret as “end-of-life”. This category includes devices discontinued more than five but less than seven years ago,” the company said.
iPhone 5 was presented to users in September 2012. From previous models this smartphone features a larger screen, solid aluminum body, the processor of the latest generation A6.
The device was equipped with three microphones, an 8-megapixel camera, updated operating system, iOS6, support high-speed LTE networks. The battery was designed for 8 hours of talktime, or 10 hours in video playback.
