Apple has acquired startup Asaii, which deals with the analysis of musical preferences of the users, reported by Reuters with reference to the news Agency Axios.
The Agency with reference to Axios notes that Apple acquired Asaii “in an attempt to improve the system recommendations for music”.
It is noted that the amount of the transaction amounted to about $100 million
Asaii — American startup that is using machine learning technology analyzes data from social networks and music services to select the most popular songs, according to the website of the company. The company claims that their technology is able to find an artist before his songs get into the charts music services.
In late September, Apple reported the completion of the acquisition of the Shazam service, created to recognize the music tracks. According to sources at TechCrunch, the transaction value amounted to about 300 million pounds ($401 million).
