Apple has finally closed the program for free replacement of defective microphones in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It happened quite suddenly and without any warning from Apple. Now the company is changing defective microphones in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus just for the money — the procedure for repair is estimated to be worth from $300 to $350.
Microphone not working in iPhone 7
In the beginning of 2018 for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus began to complain about problems with the microphones on their smartphones. According to the complaint, the microphone simply stopped working. The situation was aggravated by the fact that the button responsible for the speaker was inactive at the time of the call. Because of this problem users smartphones completely remained without communication.
Apple has acknowledged the problem on some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. In may 2018, the company launched a replacement program microphones in the troubled smartphones. However, as it became known today, the program worked for a short time — only until August. In July from the official Apple website is missing the message that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are free to change the microphones on their smartphones.
