Apple Watch Series 4 was faster than iPhone 6ѕВ Apple Watch Series 4 set a new S4 chip. Despite the fact that Apple has repeatedly noted a significant performance increase compared to the previous smart watches, the actual performance tests we have not seen.
Developer Steve Troughton-Smith decided to see how watches really work while running “heavy” applications.
Taking the algorithm that describes the physical behavior of the frames using slider and Metal, he launched a short animation system requirements on the Apple Watch Series 4.
Ok we may not have an Apple Watch benchmark, but holy shit I can do 60fps physically-based rendering Metal and realtime physics on the Series 4 😱 pic.twitter.com/GXza08pgIP

Those familiar with the design a little closer, can’t help but notice the fact that hours work per frame without any delays and lags. Honest 60 frames per second.
The application consumed only 64% of the capacity of the installed chip S4. And it says only one thing — smart watch Apple Watch Series 4 was even faster than released three years ago, the iPhone 6s.
