Apple will not agree to preset the Russian antivirus software on their gadgets, says a leading analyst of company Mobile Research Group Eldar Murtazin.
The Federal Antimonopoly service on January 25 announced that it has completed the discussion of the concept of preloading the Russian applications on mobile devices and computers. Service offers to preinstall browsers, map service, instant messenger and anti-virus software. The choice of software and procedure preset will be for device manufacturers. The implementation of the concept, according to FAS, should provide for the Russian developers of equal conditions of activity in the market and protect the interests of consumers.
Earlier, Deputy head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin told RIA Novosti that requirements will apply, including at Apple, which does not use anti-virus software. She will also have to preset the Russian software.
“I don’t think that the same Apple with this easy to agree. I think there will be struggles on this topic, but what is anti-market brand story, it is unique,” said Murtazin.
He also suggested that Apple may take steps to block imposed by the applications.
“Apple will be his “cut” will somehow block the operation of this application. I doubt they will go on about Russia in this matter,” he said.
