In Germany, the ongoing trial of the two American companies, Apple and Qualcomm. The latter seeks ban on iPhone sales because of a violation of patent law. Earlier, the court sided chip maker, forcing Apple to suspend sales of the iPhone 7 and 8 — they use Intel chips and Qorvo, which use Qualcomm technology to conserve during data transfer. Now get a new trial, however, this time Apple emerged victorious.
The regional court of Mannheim rejected the suit Qualcomm, which the chip maker accused Apple of using its patents related to power management. The court considered the accusations baseless, with what Qualcomm does not agree — the company is preparing to appeal.
Meanwhile, Apple announced that it plans to return the the iPhone 7 and 8 in the German retail. Recall that a month ago, the court banned the sale of 15 retail stores. However, the ban does not apply to Resellers, so the smartphone can still be purchased at major retail chains in Germany.
