Respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in his latest report reported that Apple is planning to abandon the idea to build a module Touch ID in the iPhone display. Instead, the cupertinos will continue to promote Face ID.
According to one version, Apple has decided to take this step because the technical features OLED panels last generation. The latter simply does not allow you to place in a display panel fingerprint sensor.
But also Ming-Chi Kuo is confident that manufacturers of Android devices will not refuse from the idea to embed the fingerprint scanner in the screen of the mobile device. Moreover, next year the number of smartphones with such a sensor will increase by 500%. Cupertinos will go the other way and make a bet on Face ID.
However, to say that Apple will completely abandon the fingerprint scanner yet. It is not excluded that in the future, the cupertinos will come back to this technology in some of its gadgets.
