ASUS has introduced a new budget smartphone ZenFone Live (L2) with gradient coloring, adding a new page on its official website. The smartphone is the successor to last year’s ZenFone Live (L1).

Design and display

ASUS ZenFone Live (L2) is made in a plastic case with a classic framework design. The smartphone still features a 5.5-inch IPS-display with a resolution of HD+ and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Hardware platform

ASUS ZenFone Live (L2) is built on the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Snapdragon or faster processor 430, the amount of RAM is 2 GB and ROM is 16 or 32 GB, expandable microSD cards up to 2 TB.

Camera

Fotosmoralo presents 5 MP front camera with flash and face detection function, which is the only method of biometric authentication in the absence of the fingerprint scanner. The main camera of ASUS ZenFone is Live (L2) on the basis Snapdragon processor 430 and 32GB ROM are 13-Megapixel sensor with aperture F/2.0 and phase autofocus, and the version on Snapdragon 425 — 8-MP sensor.

Battery and autonomy

The battery capacity of 3000 mAh provides up to 9 hours of battery life in video playback, up to 4 days when listening to music, up to 18 hours of Internet surfing via Wi-Fi and up to 29 hours of calls in 3G.

Ports and interfaces

The smartphone is equipped with a micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio Jack, two slots for SIM-cards with support for 4G-networks, FM-receiver and light sensor, while NFC is missing.

Operating system

ASUS ZenFone Live (L2) is running a full Android OS Oreo with a proprietary shell ZenUI 5, unlike the ZenFone Live (L1), which runs on Android Go.

Size and color variations

Dimensions of ASUS ZenFone Live (L2) are 147,26×71,77×8.15 mm, and weighs 140 grams. The novelty is available in two gradient colors — Rocket Red and Cosmic Blue.
