BEIJING, December 20. /TASS/. A total of 38 companies from China entered the top 500 most influential brands in the world by consulting company, World Brand Lab.

Among Chinese leaders, grid Corporation State Grid, the telecommunications giant Tencent and manufacturer of home appliances Haier — brands of these companies took 30, 39 and 41 respectively. The breakthrough of the year among the representatives of the PRC was the insurance company Ping An — for 12 months its brand “jumped” on 52 lines up to 179 ratings.

On the Chinese side, the list includes companies from various industries, including the energy sector, food and beverages, banking, media, information technology, telecommunications, and others. As said the founder of the World Brand Lab, Robert Mundell, whose words are given on the website of the consulting company, “the greatest prospects for future growth and development of Chinese brands open up such areas as new technologies, artificial intelligence and big data”.

In the list of the countries whose brands are included in the list of the most influential, China has taken the fifth place. The leader of this year became the United States — a total of 223 companies from that country present in the list. The three leaders of this year also formed the American actors — Amazon, Google and Apple have occupied the entire podium.

The rating company World Brand Lab published since 2004. He evaluates three key indicators: market share, global presence and brand loyalty from the consumer. This year the list includes companies from 28 countries and regions of the world.
