American manufacturer of artificial diamonds, Diamond Foundry, together with the head of the design Department in Apple’s sir Jonathan Aviom and industrial designer Marc Newsham introduced the world’s first ring from solid precious stone. It is reported by Hypebeast.

Team Foundry Diamond cultivated diamond until, until it reaches the required to create the ring size. According to the newspaper, the most difficult in work on the ornament began the process of cutting out ring of the desired shape.

The ring will be presented to the public on the world day of struggle against AIDS 1 December. Later it will sell at auction auction house Sotheby’s for a projected price of 250 thousand dollars. The decoration was created in support of the Fund for HIV (RED), part of the proceeds from its sale will be donated to a charity organizations.

In September, the American jeweler and head of the eponymous brand of jewelry James Allen called the main trends in the design of engagement rings. Especially popular will be three new types of rings. The first is a double ring, which may be supplemented by any precious stones.
