The company in March this year filed to the Cao Guanci a lawsuit accusing it of the transfer of its technologies related to the work of the autopilot, the us unit of Chinese firm Xiaopeng Motors. She is also developing electric vehicles.

Cao Guanci recognized that downloaded specified data to the end of 2018, when he worked in Tesla. However, he insists that completely removed all of this information and not passed it to Xiaopeng Motors. Tesla in the framework of this trial formally requested information from Apple.
