In the United States opened a new fraudulent scheme that cost Apple millions of dollars. 25-year-old van seyla Mork (Van-Seyla Mork) from Michigan received the money for the allegedly undelivered goods.
Mork spoke to Apple support, claiming that he received empty box instead of the ordered product. As proof he showed a picture of the empty box. To make this work, Mork had to get a database of previous customers at the online Apple store and submitted their names. Apple returned the money, and Mork translated them into different Bank accounts.
Marco faces 20 years in prison and a fine of 250 thousand dollars. To reduce the punishment, he pleaded guilty and he was released on bail. The verdict should be given on 21 October 2019.
