Investment Bank Piper Jaffray shared the results of research of preferences of teenagers in the United States. The study was conducted among 8 thousand high school students.
The average age of respondents was 16.3 years, 54% were boys, 46% girls. The survey showed that 86% of American teenagers believe that their next smartphone will be iPhone. It’s a bit more in comparison with the results of autumn 2018, when the rate reached 82%. The figure is steadily growing since spring of 2016, when the Apple chose 75% of adolescents.
The survey also revealed that 27% of Teens use smart hours, and 22% plan to buy Apple Watch in the next six months. For comparison, a year ago wanting to buy the Apple Watch, there were 20%.
