MOSCOW, 1 Dec — RIA Novosti. Forty-first President of the United States George Bush senior died on 95-th year of life. This was reported by his son George.

“Jen, Neil, Marvin, Doro and I regret to inform you that, having lived 94 outstanding year died our dear father,” said the forty-third President of the United States.

He said that “George Herbert Walker Bush was a noble man and the best father a son or a daughter could ask for.”

Bush senior served as President of the United States, 1989-1993. During his presidency, conducted military operations in Panama, the Philippines and the Persian Gulf.

As for domestic policy under Bush has adopted laws on the rights of citizens with disabilities (1990), protection of the environment (1990) and on the protection of employees against discrimination (1991).

In addition, he has held the posts of U.S. representative to the United Nations (1971-1972), Chairman of the National Committee of the Republican party (1973-1974), the 11th Director of the Central intelligence Agency (1976-1977) and Vice President in the Ronald Reagan administration (1981-1989).

In April of this year died the wife of Bush — Barbara Bush (1925-2018). They lived together for 73 years.
