The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be held in a month. The company has completed development of the device was supposed to begin production, and that means it’s time for the new flagship to Shine in performance tests. The other day in the benchmark GeekBench results emerged from testing of the underlying Galaxy S10 with the chipset Exynos 9820 and 6 GB of RAM. And the results could be better.

In the single core test, the new embossed 4382 points and multicore — 9570. Both figures are lower than the iPhone XS (Apple is gaining 4797 and 11265 points, respectively). However, this result may be due to the pre-release version of the firmware.

It is worth considering that Exynos 9820 will be performed for 8-nanometer process technology, when Apple A12 Bionic, he is 7 nm. Therefore, the new chipset, Samsung is unlikely to be more powerful.

Earlier in GeekBench also spotted Samsung Galaxy S10+ Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, designed for the American market. He surpassed the version on the Exynos in the multi-core test, but scored lower scores in the test on one core.

It is too early to draw conclusions about the actual performance of the new smartphone. Benchmarks only show what the potential of the hardware, not taking into account optimization — that is, the effective management of resources. Besides, now Galaxy S10 shows excess reserve capacity that will last for several years ahead.
