Attorneys General of U.S. States are preparing to announce the initiation of an investigation against Google for alleged infringement of the Antimonopoly law, reported The Washington Post.
The sources claim that about the beginning of the investigation will be announced next week at the request of more than half of the attorneys General of the States of the United States, reports TASS.
The publication notes that it is not clear whether to start proceedings and in respect of other major technology companies such as Amazon and Facebook, about which the us authorities have concerns in the field of Antimonopoly regulation.
We will remind, in August it became known that the attorneys General of the United States was going to start an antitrust investigation against a number of American high-tech companies.
Recall that on 4 June it was reported that the United States authorities are preparing to launch a large-scale investigation against the American digital giants Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google for possible antitrust violations.
