Holders of Visa cards Marine Bank the opportunity to pay for purchases using Apple devices via the Apple Pay technology.
As explained in the Bank, in August of this year this option was available for its customers with Mastercard.
Clients Marine Bank can add to Apple Pay credit or debit card Visa or Mastercard via the Wallet app. The payment with Apple Pay can also be configured in the mobile app “Sea Bank”. To pay using Apple Pay in stores with iPhone SE iPhone 6 phones and newer models, and Apple Watch.
“Apple Pay allows you to make purchases in apps and on web sites with the touch of a finger on Touch ID. When making purchases in the app or in Safari, Apple Pay works on iPhone 6 and newer models, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and more new models. You can also use Apple Pay in Safari on any Mac older than 2012 release installed on the computer system macOS Sierra, while confirming the payment with the iPhone 6 or newer, or directly on the Apple Watch and the touch of a finger to the Touch ID on the new MacBook Pro” — reminiscent of in the Bank.
When you add payment cards to Apple Pay, the card numbers are not stored on the device nor on Apple servers. “Instead, it is assigned a unique number, device account, which is encrypted and securely stored in the chip’s Secure element on your device. Each transaction is authenticated through a unique one-time secret code that is generated dynamically,” reads the release.
Apple Pay launched in the Bank of technology support for outsourcing processing center “Cardstandard” (group of companies “CFT”).
