Photo made near the Abbey Road studios where you recorded the album. Specially for the shoot, police shut down the Abbey road, and the photographer was literally a few minutes to take a picture. The cover band members crossing the road from left to right, and the left-handed Paul McCartney, unlike the others, goes barefoot and makes a step with the right foot (all the other ahead of the left).

On the left in the photo is parked Volkswagen Beetle with numbers LMW 281F. Number plate with this car stolen a few times, and in 1986, at Sotheby’s auction it was sold for £2.5 thousand. On the other side of the road in front of a police car in the photo is male. In 2004, Florida resident Paul Cole told a local newspaper that in the picture he is. In 1969 Cole was in London on vacation.

The cover of the album even became the subject of conspiracy theory that McCartney died. The legend says that all members of the group in the photo are dressed as members of the funeral procession: the first John Lennon in white like a priest, Ringo Starr was behind him in black as the undertaker, barefoot Paul McCartney in the imagination of the supporters of the theory symbolized the body of a musician, and bringing up the rear George Harrison in jeans. His conspiracy were compared with the gravedigger.
