Apple today released the first public beta of iOS 13, which can install everyone. In General, the installation process is quite simple. For installation you will need a compatible mobile device, a special profile and a little time.
It is worth noting that all the actions with the device you do at your own risk. For this reason, before installing the public beta version of iOS 13 it is better to make a backup. This can be done either through iTunes or through Settings — Apple ID — iCloud on iPhone.
It is also worth considering that iOS 13 is not compatible with all Apple mobile devices. It can be installed on:
- iPhone SE iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone Xs iPhone Xs Max XR iPhone and iPod Touch 7.
How to install iOS 13 Public beta 1
— Go to the official Apple website on a special page dedicated to the beta program for Apple operating systems.
— Click on the Register button and enter the details of your Apple ID.
— On the mobile device in the browser to open the page beta.apple.com/profile to download special beta profile.
— On a mobile device go to Settings – General — Profile, select iOS 13 & iPadOS 13 Beta Software Profile and click Install.
— Reboot the smartphone.
— On your device go to Settings – General – software Update and download the public test build of iOS 13.
At the moment the section of the Apple website dedicated to the beta testing program of operating system is not stable. From time to time, you may receive an error message. This problem is solved very easily – a simple refresh of the page.
In the case iPadOS the installation process of a public beta is no different.
