Huawei develops processors Kirin exclusively for their own smartphones under the brand of Huawei, Honor. Soon, however, this may change.
In an interview with CNBC, the founder and CEO of Huawei, Ren Zhengfei said that the company will consider sales of its chips 5G Apple. Earlier for your iPhone, Apple used the modems from Qualcomm and Intel. From Qualcomm already has a modem that supports 5G, while the modem is from Intel does not appear on the market until 2020. This means that Huawei could become an alternative supplier, if Apple wants to release a phone with support for 5G later this year.
