Chinese giant Huawei is preparing a new tablet PC series MediaPad. So far, the novelty appears under the code name CMR2 and is expected to replace the model MediaPad M5, which was held under the CMR code.
The tablet will be based on a proprietary Kirin chipset 970, will get a screen with a diagonal of 10.7 inches and a resolution of 2K. The displays will be supplied by Innolux and BOE. Also the promised camera of 13 MP with Sony sensor IMX258 or OV13855.
It is expected that the novelty can show on March 26 in Paris, where they plan to introduce a smartphone line Huawei P30. Other specifications, prices and release date on market is still unknown.
We will remind that earlier the company has registered a trademark MatePad, which is expected to become the basis for a powerful new line of premium tablets company. Therefore, Huawei will be able to compete with Apple.
