HAIKOU /China/, June 26. /TASS/. Telecommunications company Huawei will create in Linshui County in South China Hainan province center of development of technologies of Internet of things. This was announced at the industry event “Linshui-Huawei”, which took place on 23 June in Linshui-Lyskom Autonomous County in the territory of the international industrial Park, the newspaper “Hainan daily”.

The innovation centre will create the necessary basis for the development of technologies of Internet of things in the region. Academy of Sciences of China on the forum were presented the prospects of further development of the country’s industry of Internet of things and 5G communication technologies, the largest developer which is the company Huawei.

Present at the forum the representative of the telecommunications giant said that the company plans to create with the use of its own technology 5G in this County of Hainan province innovation hub of the Internet of things, which must be formed a certain technological standard of the industry development.

Corporation Huawei was founded in 1987. It produces telecommunications equipment, and consumer devices and smartphones. Products and services of the company are available in more than 170 countries. The company is among the world leaders in the development of technologies needed for the deployment of communication of the fifth generation.

In 2018 Huawei has sold 206 million smartphones under the Huawei and Honor brands. This figure allowed her to enter the three world leaders, along with Samsung and Apple. At the end of last year in the world was established around 500 thousand base stations of cellular communication produced by Huawei, including more than 40 thousand — station 5G.
