Within two months of operation the police, new Delhi (India) arrested 63 operator 26 fraudulent call-centers posing as tech support from Microsoft, Google, Apple and other large companies. As reported by Microsoft, in October police raided 10 call centers and arrested 24 people. This week were searched in 16 call centers, culminating in the arrest of 39 people.
Employees of Microsoft received from users from 15 different countries about 7 thousand complaints related to the activities closed this week call centers. According to the complaint, the victim paid the scammers from $100 to $500 for unnecessary services and products.
