Apple has released a new test firmware for a proprietary column, and developers have found it a lot of new features.
The first and perhaps the most interesting is the ability to make calls directly from the speaker. Do not forward them from your phone, and full control only the voice. Simply put, you can now ask Siri on the HomePod to call someone and not have to look for the iPhone.
The second is to support the Find My iPhone app. Now the built-in voice assistant you can ask beep to find the phone. A similar feature is already on the company clock Corporation.
Third – the ability to set multiple timers at the same time. Owners speakers often complained that HomePod can only run one timer. Apparently, Apple quickly decided to eliminate this defect.
Also in the application “Home” button appeared, “forcing” the column to connect to the same Wi-Fi network connected to the user’s other devices.
Probably HomePod 12 will be released simultaneously with iOS 12, watchOS 5, tvOS 12 and macOS 10.14 Mojave in September.
