Apple is transparently introduced a “trust rating” which would be drawn up, including on the basis of the number of calls and emails, reports The Independent. It is noted that this system will allow corporations to prevent fraud, but won’t give Apple access to that users store in their phones.
American Corporation Apple quietly added the new version of the iOS operating system “confidence rating” which is based on the user using your iPhone and other devices, reports The Independent.
“In order to recognize and prevent fraud when making purchases, we will use information about how you use your device, including the approximate amount received, and dialed calls and sent and received emails for the rating of the trust. Data collection is so that Apple cannot see what you keep on your phone”, — said in the text of the updated security policy.
However, specific examples as to how this will help to prevent fraud, not given.
The newspaper notes that the “vagueness” of the language that the company uses, suggests that “it may be interpreted more broadly and potentially aggressive way.” In addition, it is highly unusual that the updates are those gadgets with the help of which it is impossible to use mobile phones and send or receive emails.
The Independent notes that Apple representatives had no immediate comment on the innovation.
