Apple introduced the function of “censorship” for handwritten notes on their mobile devices in the latest beta version of the iOS platform 13. The phenomenon drew the attention of the user iOSBeta social news site Redit.

As noted by the source, the company has introduced a special algorithm that overwrites swear words when offers name for storing the handwritten notes.

Apple itself has not commented on the new feature in Notes. Also unclear until the end of the algorithm for the choice of swear words, apparently, Apple is trying to keep the suggestions for names at the level of PG-13 (Viewing not advisable for children under 13 years).

IOS 13 is expected in September 2019. Mobile platform will be available as a free update for iPhone and iPad.
