Analytical company IDC has published a report on the PC market in the first quarter of 2019. During this period, the world has sold nearly 58,5 million desktops, notebooks and workstations, which is 3% less than last year.
In the last quarter changed the world leader — before the first place was occupied by the Chinese company Lenovo, and now its shifted to HP. HP sold of 13.58 million units and holds a market share of 23.2%. Interestingly, compared to the same period last year, sales of HP declined 0.8%.
Lenovo now ranks second from 13.43 million and 23%, sales increased by 1.8%. In third place is Dell from 10.38 million and a share of 17.7%, the fourth — Apple from 4.06 million and 6.9%, and the top five leaders Acer from 3.59 million and 6.1%.
