Today 24th January is the 35th anniversary of the legendary Macintosh computer. Back in 1984 Steve jobs first showed this new product at the shareholders meeting, which was held at the flint center in Cupertino, California.
At the time of its release, the Macintosh was equipped with 128 kilobytes of RAM and a Motorola 68000 processor. Private memory available to the user at the computer was not. All information was stored on 3.5 inch diskette with a capacity of only 400 kilobytes.
The demand for a new Apple computer was very high. In just six months, Apple managed to sell more than 70,000 Macintosh. The demand was rather high in the future.
