Right on track Siren Song, which Ukrainian singer Maruv (Anna Korsun) must act on “the Eurovision-2019”, the Russian company owned by Warner Music Russia. TV channel “24” drew attention to the information on the right holder specified in the Apple Music service.
According to the channel, that all royalties from the song will go to the Russian budget.
Earlier in the National public broadcasting company of Ukraine (NOTE) stated that Maruv will be able to represent Ukraine at “Eurovision” only in case of refusal tour in Russia. This item is contained in the contract, which she received for reviewing. The singer is the day to make the decision. If it does not refuse from the tour in Russia, the NOTE may not approve of her participation in the contest.
The organization stressed that the Ukrainian laws do not prohibit the artist to represent the country at Eurovision if he went on tour in Russia. In the summer of 2018 Maruv spoke at the award “MUZ TV”.
During the selection contest the singer was asking questions about her trips to Russia. In response, she emphasized that “brings peace” with my music, and Eurovision was created to ensure that the country was United.
“Eurovision-2019” will be held from 14 to 18 may in tel Aviv. Russia will be represented by Sergey Lazarev.
