SINGAPORE, March 27. /TASS/. Apple in the coming months will open in Singapore, two major retail store to further expand its presence in Southeast Asia. This writes in Wednesday newspaper the Straits Times, citing industry sources.
To date, Singapore is the region’s flagship centre Apple. As expected, in late April, a new shop will appear in the opening next month one of the largest shopping centers Jewel, which is located at Changi airport.
According to the publication, the third store will appear this year in Marina Bay, where the eponymous hotel with a huge pool at the 55th floor, and a trade and exhibition centre, casino. According to the preliminary plan, the store will be located on the shore of Marina Bay, it will be connected by an underground passage with the main building of the shopping center.
As the newspaper notes, despite the drop in sales, primarily smartphones, Apple still relies on an economically growing South-East Asia. In addition, the presence of a few large stores in one metropolis meets the company’s strategy of presence in the most attractive tourist places of the world.
