Monday begins the annual WWDC (Apple Worldwide Developer Conference). Media reported that her Apple is going to announce the closure of iTunes.
Bloomberg writes that iTunes will replace three separate apps: Music, TV and Podcasts. This is fully consistent with the new strategy of Apple with regards to media consumption by using devices.
Most of the features of iTunes will contain the Music app. Thus, the company “will unload” service, which had already become too cumbersome. Journalists call this a transition into a new era. It’s hard to disagree, because iTunes has been around for almost 20 years.
Also at the conference Apple is expected to introduce updated Health app, Maps, Books, Home and Mail. WWDC 2019 will be held from 3 to 7 June.
