Sony officially presented its new technology — 360 Reality Audio. With the new design, which is a “spatial format music play”, users can listen to the tracks at home as if they were at a live concert.
A similar effect is achieved due to the fact that the new technology takes into account, where at the time of recording were vocalist and various instruments. The launch of the 360 Reality Audio is scheduled for the fall of 2019, but in the first stage, Sony promises the availability of about 1,000 different songs, ranging from Bob Dylan and Pharrell Williams to Billy Joel.
At the moment we know that new technology will be integrated into such popular music services like Amazon Music HD, Deezer, Tidal and nugs.net. Unfortunately for subscribers of Apple Music, Google Play Music and Spotify, the company has not entered into an agreement with data services.
