At German media company ProSiebenSat.1 does not rule out that the streaming video service Joyn, launched in conjunction with Discovery, will start work outside of Germany.
In an interview for the business magazine Wirtschaftswoche, the head of ProSiebenSat.1 Max Conze said: “When we launch all the planned features and premium subscription to Joyn, we will think about how to bring the service to the European market. Perhaps it will be the licensing. Or we start branches in other countries, together with regional partners.” Other details Conse not disclose.
Joyn started on 18 June 2019. The platform broadcasts 55 of free TV channels including all the channels owned by ProSiebenSat.1 and Discovery, and public ARD and ZDF. In addition, the service directory commercial channels, such as Viacom, WELT and Sport1.
In addition to Joyn available on television serials and TV shows in VOD format, some of which are available to cinepremiere. Many programs are available on request within 30 days after it is shown on TV. Joyn also have themed channels, curated by the editors of Food Network and MotorTrend (the number will increase).

In winter, the planned expansion of the catalogue — in particular, Joyn will be available maxdome and Eurosport Player.
