It was assumed that Qualcomm will introduce its new flagship Snapdragon chip 865 in December of this year. But according to the resource WCCFTech, the new mobile processor may be announced as early as next month. Reportedly, Qualcomm has accelerated the release of the chipset, not to be outdone by Huawei and its recently released Kirin 990.
So, according to the insider universe Ice in the benchmark Geekbench tested unknown smartphone based on Snapdragon 865. In the test using one core gadget is gaining 4250 points, and using all cores — 13 330 points. At the moment this is a record among Android smartphones. It is worth noting that smartphones iPhone line 11 in single-core and multi-core tests, gaining an average of 760 5470 and 13 points, respectively.
Snapdragon 865 will be made using a 7-nm photolithography in the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and will include the ARM Cortex-A77.
