Service care from Apple will launch in the US in April.
This was mentioned in The Information part of a more extensive article about the intentions of Amazon. According to the publication, Apple recommends content partners to be ready to start in mid-April.
Yet unnamed service will be available in the existing TV app, with some original content Apple free. Third-party content providers can be purchased inside the app — in-app purchases are a common feature of apps in the Apple App store.
App Apple TV already combines the content of local broadcasters with streaming services Netflix and Amazon.
The message The Information was based on an earlier article by Bloomberg, where it is assumed that subscription can be executed inside the application.
It is expected that after the launch in the US some 100 countries will also receive access to the service.
