The dismissal of Apple’s design chief Jonathan Ive, who announced that he decided to start his own business, has brought down the capitalization of the U.S. holding at least $9 billion
As reported by Forbes, Apple shares on the Nasdaq on June 28 after the close of trading fell by 1.5%. Jonathan Ive, responsible for all design decisions of the Corporation, announced the departure on the evening of 27 June. He plans to create a design LoveFrom, which will start operating in 2020.
Departments of user interface design Apple will be headed by operations Director Jeff Williams, who led the development of Apple Watch. The Corporation will continue cooperation with YWAM as customer LoveFrom. However, Apple shares fell.
Jonathan Ive was a close associate of Steve jobs. He has been working with Apple since 1992, and since 1996, directs the work of the designers. For guidance, the Quince has taken all design decisions — from the appearance and interface of devices of the American Corporation to the interiors of the shops. Ive helped Apple in the past year to achieve a market capitalization of $1 trillion.
