Research firm Canalys has studied the Chinese smartphone market. According to her account, in the second quarter of 2019 Huawei even stronger staked out a leading position for themselves. So, now the company’s presence expanded to 38%, while all other leading brands lost their positions.
According to the study, over the same period, Huawei shipped about China 37.3 million smartphones. It on 31% more than in the same period last year. The company’s market share, the result of widespread growth, has also grown considerably compared with 27.6% a year earlier. In turn, companies such as Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Apple are the major competitors of Huawei, on the contrary faced in the second quarter of this year, with a decrease in the supply of their phones. Canalys analysts noted that the domestic market has become a target for Huawei in connection with the sanctions that have been milled for a company from the United States.
