According to the Federal Antimonopoly service dated August 20, 2018, the office has launched an investigation against the leading Russian operators of cellular communication.
The experts believe that MegaFon, MTS, Beeline and Tele2 charged a different fee for the campaigns sending a text message, depending on whether the customer is a private or public company.
Violations were revealed in the summer of 2018. Then FAS has sent the operators a requirement to eliminate discriminatory conditions for two weeks. Re-examination showed that the instructions were ignored.
This was the basis for excitation of Affairs in various parts of the tenth article of the law “On protection of competition”.
