Apple has patented a new device to detect dangerous gas leaks. It is assumed that the detector will be placed in new iPhone models.
Writes Life.ru according to the published document, the device will be able to “smell” carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide.
Experts have said that this device will replace the home sensors to detect gas leaks. Moreover, the iPhone not only finds danger and notify owner, but also will cause the team of the gas service.
Earlier in the state Duma of the Russian Federation proposed to install gas leak detectors in all apartment buildings where gas equipment is used. This initiative was made by the Deputy from the LDPR faction Igor Toroshin.
