A few days ago, Apple introduced the updated MacBook Pro, which received an improved keyboard and Intel the eighth and ninth generations. While novelties have not reached their customers – cupertinos promise delivery within a week. However, the network is already the first tests of the MacBook Pro sample of 2019.
According to Apple, thanks to new processors, updated “Proshka” performance markedly superior to the previous generation model. In some cases, the gain can reach 40%. However, tests on a MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i9-9980HK, 32 GB RAM and Radeon graphics Pro Vega 20 show slightly different data.
According to the results of testing the laptop in Geekbench 4, in the single core test, the new product is gaining 5979 points, and in multi-core – 29184 points. The results are quite decent. Performance MacBook Pro with chip i9 passes in the tests the Mac Pro, configurations with 6 and 8 core Intel Xeon processors.
However, if we compare the results of testing the new “Proshka” MacBook Pro (2018), the difference is about 30% in multi-core test. The latter is gaining in Geekbench 5348 and 22620 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
