According to Bach, the system for facial recognition in the Apple store mistakenly linked him to a series of thefts from the company’s stores, which led to his arrest in November last year.
In the lawsuit, Bach said that the arrest warrant included the photograph of the man, it is not like him and that during one of the burglaries in Boston, in which he was charged, he was present at the prom in Manhattan.
Bach says that once upon a time he stole an identity that could be used the real thief to identify in the Apple store, which led to the fact that his name was erroneously connected with the face of the thief in the face recognition system from Apple.
Bach says he was forced to answer “numerous false accusations that have led to serious stress.”
Apple to comment on the situation refused.
