TASS, November 22. The Washington Post has accused Apple in the lack of control placed in the App Store applications for social networks that are available to children. The results of the publication of the investigation are presented on Friday at his official website.
The Washington Post reviewed more than 130 thousand user reviews on six applications for communication, one of which, the Monkey, was in the top 100 social networks on the Apple platform in October and has been approved for children older than 12 years. During the investigation it was found that more than 1.5 thousand of reviews related to “awkward situations involving sexual behavior.” According to the newspaper, complaints concerned inappropriate conduct of users of social networks in which strangers can communicate by video.
