Hackers have long been in full frolic in social networks, hacked mobile apps and browsers, earning huge money.
As found by Belgian scientists, hackers do not even need to choose, through some “hole” in the program to break the system protect users. They can get to the information they need, just cracking technology wireless LAN Wi-Fi.
Experts from the University of Leuven in Belgium, the study found that any device capable of connecting to Wi-Fi, is under threat.
The problem in security technology Wireless Protected Access 2 (WPA-2), which is equipped with all modern Wi-Fi routers. It turns out that this system is vulnerable to hacking using the program Key Reinstallation Attacks (KRACK).
With its help, the attackers can get into any gadget with a wireless connection and steal personal information of user including contacts, passwords, banking data and more.
Google and Apple have already released updates to address this problem. Experts recommend users to frequently update their devices and browsers.
