The Internet-messengers WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, as well as messaging service in Instagram will be integrated. According to the newspaper The New York Times, this will allow the head of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg to establish control over the sprawling subdivisions of the company.
All three services will continue to operate as separate applications, but their basic messaging will be unified. In addition, messengers will get function end-to-end encryption, ensuring complete privacy of the conversation. Thus, the integration will allow Facebook users to send encrypted messages to someone who, for example, have an account only in WhatsApp. This application will enhance the functionality of Facebook and concentrate the billions of users in one ecosystem. It will also encourage users to abandon competing services messaging from Apple and Google. In addition, the growth in applications Facebook advertising will facilitate the development and implementation of new monetized services.
