Microsoft has released a new beta version of Windows 10-supported apps “Your phone”. It allows you to sync content on your smartphone with your computer on Windows 10 without using third party apps, reports The Verge.
Yet this app only works with smartphones running Android 7.0 and above. Users can view the photos on my computer taken on the smartphone. If necessary, you can drag them to any folder or application, such as PowerPoint. In the future, Microsoft plans to add sync notifications and text messages.
The app “Your phone” will work with the iPhone. The Microsoft blog says that iPhone owners will be able to share links with your computers on Windows 10. Sync photos, notifications and text messages there is no mention. This is probably due to limitations of iOS. Although previously Microsoft had hoped that Apple would give them access to iMessage.
For the first time about the app “Your phone,” Microsoft said at the Build conference in may 2018. It is part of the autumn update Redstone 5, which is to be released in October this year.
