Last week Apple unveiled its new line of covers Smart Battery Case for iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. There is a new button that gives you quick access to the camera, as we wrote.
Until now it was unclear how the new button works, as do the smartphones do not have buttons, designed exclusively for camera triggering. But now we know a bit more about its mechanism of work, thanks to x-rays.
If you look closely at the image above, you will see two thin paths going from the button to the battery. Then they turn left to the circuit Board that connects to the Lightning port and transmits data from the case to your smartphone and back. Presumably when you press the button, the signal passing through the chip cover, gets into the iPhone, and then run a video camera.
This integration of the case and the smartphone allows us to hope that in the future the gadget will have new buttons available and will get new features.
